Homeserve Cover

Hi, hope this is the right place to post this.
I am looking into taking out home emergency cover with Homeserve to cover our boiler, etc.
We are in a new build which also has an unvented cylinder (Megaflow) and need this covered too.
There does not appear to be any exclusions in the t&c's for this but does anyone have any experience of or know for sure please?
Thanks in advance. x

We've used Homeserve for several years. We use them because we have a Powermax HE which most heating engineers won't touch.
We call them out when we have a problem and they usually come out within a few days. They also do an annual service.
I think that they say that they will replace the boiler if they can't fix it but I think that there are specific conditions so I am not relying on that.0 -
Really best to email homeserve your requirements and ask for a quote.
Ask homeserve if they will also carry out the annual service to your megaflow and gas boiler, to the appropriate manufactures instructions (its a requirement) they may want more cash thou !.0 -
Megaflow is not covered under the Homeserve boiler cover plan.
Out of the big guys, only British Gas and Aviva cover Megaflows if I am not mistaken. Other companies (I would not recommend just because I do not know enough about them) that also cover Megaflows would be Row and SSE.
My advice for boiler cover in year 1 would always be BG.0
