Consumer Rights - Missing Parts - Bathstore

Options
Any advice on my experience with the Bathstore ?
I bought a bathroom set from them and 12 days after reported a missing part and they refused to remedy it saying it was reported 7 days after delivery and their policy is to offer replacement or refund only if the part is reported missing within 7days of delivery.My understanding is that in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have a 30 day refund/return period.

See my complaint below sent to them :

Dear Bathstore,

Why does your company policy on refunds not comply with the law ?

I made an in store purchase and 12 days after delivery reported a missing part and was told that company policy for replacement of missing parts is 7 days so I had to buy a new one.

The Consumer Rights Act states customers have 30 days under the law and serious penalties will be incurred for leading customers to believe otherwise.

As per the back of the invoice for my order in between the small print it states,

!!!8220;7. LOSS OR DAMAGE TO GOODS ON DELIVERY

7.1 We recommend You examine the Goods to check that they are as ordered and undamaged within 7 days from the day after delivery. Please open each box and check that everything is as ordered and appears in good condition. bathstore will replace Goods free of charge that have been incorrectly supplied or damaged in transit during their delivery. Please notify your local store within 7 days from the day after the day on which the Goods were received and We will arrange for a replacement item to be delivered and the damaged item to be collected.!!!8221;

As per the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

!!!8220;New consumer protection measures - including longer refund rights - have come into force under the Consumer Rights Act.

For the first time anyone who buys faulty goods will be entitled to a full refund for up to 30 days after the purchase

As per the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

!!!8220;It!!!8217;s illegal to display any notice that deliberately misleads consumers or deceives them about their rights, eg a sign that says you don!!!8217;t accept returns or offer refunds.!!!8221;
