Partnership Tax Return

Good Evening,

I have submitted my 17-18 partnership tax return around 2 weeks ago. I was a sole trader prior to this. How long does it take to get a response from HMRC?

Why would there be a response to a partnership return? One would hope that there wouldn't be any. Have you (and the other partners) also submitted personal returns?

What kind of response were you expecting? If you file online, you should get an acknowledgment from HMRC almost immediately to confirm they've received it. That's it - there's nothing else unless they open a formal enquiry.

I suspect that the op may believe that the tax return which was filed as a sole trader has now been replaced by the partnership return, hence my second question. As ever, I could be wrong!
