Got a water butt pump. The manual is a lie and say it has a 1" BSP screw thread connector. I've measure it and it's 1.25"
I need an adapter today to connect a hozepipe to a 1.25" screw connector. Biggest I can find in general hose adapters is 1".
Any ideas?
Might be some connector that isn't specifically for garden hose that could convert 1.25" to 1" for another trade purpose?

British Standard Pipe threads are based on the nominal bore of the pipe - Screwy idea and causes loads of confusion... A 1"BSP thread should measure 1.3" on the outside diameter, so your 1.25" sounds close enough if you have been using a ruler or tape measure.
A handy table of BSP sizes - http://www.newmantools.com/taps/bsp.htmHer courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -

As has been said, it isn't a lie, you don't know how to measure a pipe thread.0
