Good luck with the update.
It caused severe problems to my Lenovo Yoga, and many others, according to Lenovo support.
I tried the creation media, but it also failed to download. Eventually resorted to taking PC back to factory condition, but this took ages as the download kept disconnecting internet wifi connection, and saying I my PC battery was weak. It wasn't!
Microsoft should have more respect for their users, and stop arrogantly pushing out updates before they are thoroughly tested.0 -
I've also had problems with a Lenovo laptop. The update downloads and starts to install but at 49% objects because it wants me to uninstall Avira AV. Of course, that has never been on the machine and I checked the registry just in case.
Looking on line I wasn't the first to find this (and they didn't have Avira either). I guess I now have to download the update to a USB and try from there. Anyone else had this or know a solution?0 -

However, I had to restore PC back to factory condition before it worked properly again.0 -

Do you run Avira antivirus? If so Microsoft blocked the update for users of that because it caused issues but they've since released it in the last few days so I'd try again. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I use Bitdefender. The issue was one of wasting around 4GB of data every go on a loop of Windows download, then install, then error, then download again.
I'll try the ISO in the next few days and see if that resolves the issue. I've updated several PCs and laptops running Win 10 in the past, it's not usually this awkward.
Thanks for all the replies.0 -
if you prefer to keep data to a min on os drive don't forget to clean system files after updating as windows old folder will be 29GB ish"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0
