Hello all firstly thankyou for your time and hoping you're well.
Im completely new around here, having spent the past hour trawling through the newbies forum in all honestly im probably abit more confused now as to when i started, just with so many different routes to take / letter formats to use / correct wording. Understanding the no real names ect here goes,
"Joseph" owns the car. His not so clever partner Mary decided to use the car and go into a car park ( lawson road car park, lawson road, brighouse, HD6 1NY ) the car park is for the customers of M&Co shopping with a charge of 50p per the hour. ( 50p bargain these days !! )
"Mary" has completely forget to get a ticket and just walked straight into M&Co to browse. ( didn't purchase anything in the store however. as again saw on another thread if "Mary" had, could use as proof of some sort. ) "Mary" had parked the car for 34 Mins as detailed by the letter.
Now "Joseph" been the owner of the car gets a wonderful letter from HX-PCN - INVITING himself to pay them £60 ( of course within their 14 day scare tactic ) before it increases to £100 afterwhich. States they gathered the evidence ( sent 3 photos of "Joseph's" car, one entering the car park, another one of just the reg and lastly just leaving said car park, the photos are not clear enough to determine whether male / female driving. ) through either ANPR/CCTV or photographs.
Now my understanding is you can decline an invite but i feel it wont be as easy as myself writing to them saying "no thanks, keep your invite"
Any and all help / Templates are very very welcomed !
thank-you all.
If ive posted incorrectly i will amend this asap.

Why not use the template appeal letter from the NEWBIES thread that you say you have read? This needs to be sent by the keeper, not the owner, and not the driver who should never be identified. These are three different people as far as the law is concerned.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
and ...... complain to the retailer .... even if you did not buy that day .... perhaps you do buy there regularly ... perhaps you where browsing for a big spend £££ .....
only complain to the manager / head office ... not customer services

thankyou both for responses !
sorry i may have clicked one too many links and got caught up in it all. ( bit overwhelming as to how many technical terms there is for myself )
Im assusimg this template is the correct one

Dear Sir/Madam,
Re PCN number:
I appeal and dispute your purported 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny liability and consider the PCN an absolute disgrace and pure intimidation.
There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn, nor was there any agreed contract. Your signage terms fail the test of 'large lettering' and prominence of the parking charge, as established in ParkingEye Ltd v Beavis, which is fully distinguished.
Should you fail to cancel this PCN, I require the following information with your rejection letter:
1. Please provide dated photos of the signs on site, which you contend formed a contract.
2. Please provide all images taken of this vehicle on that day, at the material location.
I will use POPLA (if offered) not the 'IAS' which has been exposed in Parliament as compromised by a conflict of interests with the IPC. The BPA were also heavily criticised and both appeals systems were condemned - hardly surprising for an industry where so-called AOS members admitted in recent years to letting victims 'futilely go through the motions' of appeal and saying on camera 'we make it up sometimes' (BBC Watchdog). Firms of your ilk were unanimously criticised in 2018 as operating an 'outrageous scam' (Hansard 2.2.18).
I have kept proof of submission of this appeal and will also be making a formal complaint about your predatory and aggressive conduct to your client landowner, as well as complaining in writing to my MP and ensuring that they are appraised of the debate where Parliament agreed by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists...should not have to put up with this''.
Yours faithfully,
******
, and as the thread states id just email this through to their appeal box? and would state the email is coming from the owner of the vechile and never mention whom is driving.
Will also go into store to make a complaint, never done this so ought to be.. different?0 -
How many appeal templates did you find?
Are you going to ask for confirmation of everything you read in the NEWBIES thread?0 -
Please don't post the template appeal and ask 'is it this one?' Please nonono...never again.
Screams...
No thread was even needed, the NEWBIES thread already told you what to do. WDIB?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
