phone repair rights

Hi,
My sister bought a new phone a couple of weeks ago, managed to drop it and crack the screen, other than the crack it was still working correctly.
We took it to be repaired at "ifix norwich" the guy first ordered in a screen that he then claimed was faulty, ordered another one and is now claiming that the touch screen doesn't work anymore. He's started being quite rude and aggressive and has offered us either money minus the cost of the screen that he hasn't fitted, or the now completely broken phone back, or a similar second hand phone.
Now to us none of those options are acceptable.
I was hoping someone would be able to give us some advice on what we can do here, what our rights are or who we can contact to get a reasonable solution.
Thanks
Alex

Googling them seems to show they only do repairs, so I would say no.0 -

It was presumably an iPhone?
There are issues with replacing iPhone screens, with them not working properly and so on as a result of Apple trying to lock repairs down.
That being said, that’s not relevant to you as a consumer. If they can’t fix it, they need to give you back the phone as it was unless they specifically told you that trying to fix it would be destructive and if they were unable to so you’d get an even more broken phone back. And you agreed to this, of course.0 -
Hi, thanks for the responses.
Sorry if it was unclear, she bought it from amazon, just took it to this place for repairs.
Its an honor 7x, so i don't think they generally have repair lock issue but ill look into it just incase.
That's what we thought but we weren't sure if there was any legislation or consumer rights that covered this sort of thing.
The guys just keeps saying that its in the terms and conditions but i can only see where they mention minor damages not significant damages.0
