OP, it's probably a good idea to keep an eye on all of your household bills. No company, as you've found, is obliged to tell you've of cheaper deals that are introduced. Why not make a diary note to check every 3-4 months?

Have you looked at nowtv? They are owned by sky but seem much cheaper - i just Have the movies and pay 3.30 a month for all sky movies and the movies on demand as everytime it goes back to full price (9.99) I cancel and they contact me with an offer

I switched to Entertainment. I'd seen publicity about the changes almost every time I left my cave. Completely understand it is not Sky's job to contact me to twist my arm however they did not make it at all easy to get the information to switch e.g. not only no email but nothing very clear at all on the MySky website. Once I rang (which I hate doing) I got a significant reduction and not too much pressure to go back to Movies which I'd cancelled a few months before.
