Scared to move to smaller company!

We were with EDF for years; mainly because until recently we'd had a reasonable tariff with them. However, when our old tariff finished, the new one was ridiculously expensive and so we switched to a small supplier "YourEnergy Sussex".
The actual tariff was quite a bit cheaper and so I felt it was worth a shot, to see how we got on with them. Their reviews seemed reasonable and the actual switch was completely painless. Also they're not pestering me every five minutes to have a Smart Meter fitted (I told them right in the beginning that I don't do Smart Meters and would not be having one fitted under any circumstances.)
So far they seem to be satisfactory; however these are early days (and I haven't actually paid them anything yet!
) so I'll just have to see how they pan out. A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.0 -
I switched to Breeze Energy a while back (MSE compare top result) and have had no issues. If there would have been problems then it might have gotten nasty, but I have dealt with Npower and British Gas before so I cant see how any small supplier could do worse.
There is a big upshot of a small supplier, no smart meter nagging!0 -
I was with BG far too long, they brought in a standing charge and as a low user I didn't want to pay that. Moving to Ebico was a good way to get out of that standing charge. Still with them, and much lower quarterly bills.
ilonaI love skip diving.
