PPI acceptance form

Hi
I've signed a couple of ppi offers on acceptance forms.
28 days have passed and they say they haven't sent it yet and may take a further 28 days as back log.

Question I have is do they have to increase interest in this now ?
If they found a mistake can they reduce offers after forms signed ?

They are with Natwest if that helps

Thanks

Are the forms not legally binding then ?

If a mistake is made, it can be rectified. Eg if they have charged you too much for something, you would still be able to get the excess payment returned.

It doesn't remove your legal rights.

If for example they offer 500 quid on a plevin claim can they (after form is signed) turn round and say sorry we got it wrong you not entitled to anything ?

Yes. Same as if you sent them a cheque for £500 and then realised you meant to send it to someone else.

They wouldn't get to keep it.

    That's what I figured.

Do you believe they've made a mistake?
