Same Credit Card Issuer

Lets say if i have got a Asda card which is issued by Ge capital what are the chances of acceptance if i do apply for PayPal or Ge money which is Also issued by same lender.

    You may get one but if the CC company is clued up they may split your limit across 2 cards.

    No real advantage.

    i would think there are better deals to go for with a rival lender than 2 cards from the same stable.

  • They probably won't allow any balance transfers if that's something you're after.

    I've had them split limits across the cards.

    But.

    A few years ago I had five different cards from MBNA and Mrs LA had two more. Across them all our credit limit was about £55,000:eek: .

    All cut up and sent back some time ago:T .
