Can I get the mortgage I want

Options
Hi we are currently in process of buying our housing association house under right to buy, we’re getting it at roughly 50% discount so only want a 10 year mortgage of around 40k what’s the best route to go down and do we go with a broker? I’ve been told bigger companies won’t go near us as they won’t make as much money off us.

Go to an all market independent broker, make sure they do not charge you, they get paid by the mortgage companies... they will be able to tell you which mortgage companies are likely to accept your circumstances and get you the best deal.

The minimums are typically £10K or £25K. If you're having trouble, borrow more on an offset mortgage.
