The 25th International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year and returns to Harrogate's magnificent Royal Hall from 8th–27th August, promising fantastic entertainment for all the family. This unique festival features around 100 performances and fringe activities, all staged within the Royal Hall, the Harrogate Theatre and the specially-themed Utopia Pavilion – an exciting meeting place for festival visitors offering free film screenings, lunchtime entertainment and the late-night festival club.
A major highlight of this year's festival will be sixteen performances by the critically-acclaimed professional National Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company, with five brand new productions of all-time favourites: Iolanthe, The Pirates of Penzance, Ruddigore, The Sorcerer and Trial by Jury. The Company will also present a production of the rarely performed Haddon Hall on 17th August. We've managed to secure five pairs of tickets to any of the performances taking place during the festival.
