How far beyond the back wall can you currently extend back without planning permission for a semi (England)?

3 meters under permitted development rules. We are having this done currently... Think it has to be similar materials to existing and single storey0

3 metres out is minimum. Up to a max of 6m, you can full width of existing house and i think 3 metres in height is max.0
