Help with feedback removal

Hi all

I had a buyer make a false INR claim which I successfully defended. eBay told me they wouldn't be able to leave me feedback and if they did then they would remove it for me, but I cannot find where to flag the feedback up to them - I got a malicious negative more than a month down the line. The buyer lost the INR case as she accidentally admitted she had the item! Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting the feeback removed please as clearly a feedback revision request is a waste of my time.

    Just phone them.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I agree, just phone them or use live chat, recently they have been very helpful! I wonder how they managed to leave feedback, usually the INR claim when closed in your favour automatically prevents feedback being left.

The live chat wasn't working on my phone for some reason but I did get through to someone on the computer who confirmed that the feedback will be removed within the next 48 hours, and that she didn't know how the buyer managed to leave feedback after losing the case. The item was purchased in the first few days of April so I was also surprised as I was led to believe you could only leave feedback within 45 days?

I thought it was 60 days, but to be honest ebay keep changing things and I no longer keep up with it all!

The saga continues, as they told me it would be removed within 48 hours, and today I chased them up as it has not been removed and even though there is a transcript of them promising this.

This person I am talking to is ignoring what I am saying, doesn't want to read the transcript and says that I should ask for a feedback revision....the feedback should never have been left in the first place as the buyer lost a case as she was caught out lying by ebay themselves.

what do I do next? Anyone got a tip as to how I get through to the Irish call centre?

Sorry for asking a question when I can't answer yours, but how did she admit that she had the item?

By saying that she had it. And when she realised she had messed up, she stopped replying in the case, and I escalated it to eBay, who gave her admission that she had the item as a reason to close it in my favour.

Oh, so straightforward mixup. Not something like 'I never received the item and what's more, it's a different colour from how it appears in the listing.'

I honestly can't quite remember, as I had forgotten all about the entire incident after eBay had reassured me that she would NOT be able to leave feedback, but that if somehow she did it would be removed immediately...so I blocked the incident out. I do have a transcript of eBay last week telling me they'd remove the feedback and of course the message confirming they closed the case and why. I'm still at over 99% positive feedback as it's my first negative in years but it's the principle.
