GDPR - Sole trader

Good afternoon,

My partner is a sole trader running an online retail business. I wondered if there are any template privacy policies that she can use to put on her website?

In terms of her mailing list, she doesn't start e-mailing people just because they have placed an order. There is a specific box on her website which people have to fill in with their e-mail address in order to subscribe, which I read as express consent. All her e-mails/newsletters detail how people can unsubscribe so does she need to e-mail them all about GDPR specifically? If so, I'm guessing it will just be to say you previously requested to receive e-mails from me and will continue to do so unless you unsubscribe as opposed to if you don't 'opt-in' again then I will stop e-mailing you?

Thanks.
Gareth.
