    Thanks Annatheman

I am very proud of them both. Dan's Graduation is next Tuesday and he has got an extra ticket so I can attend. Lots of good things happening for him at the moment. Sue
  • Well done to you and your grandson. He will do well.
My son studied Computer Science and Maths and has never looked back. His favorite subject at school was Latin but thought there wouldn't be many opportunities, however, he's found two jobs so far where he uses CS, Maths and Latin everyday.
Love living in a village in the country side

Thanks for that and well done to your Son. I often think that at 18 young people are perhaps guided towards what they area good at. He did his degree in Physics which he was very good at along with Maths. Somewhere along the line he fell out of love with Physics so needed to take a different route. He has been very happy with the CS and that is the field that he is pursuing now.

I attended the Graduation of my Grandson yesterday at the University of Birmingham. Very proud of him. Such a lovely young man although I do say it myself. Sue
  • It totally depends on the university where he/she is studying. If you talk about the USA or UK, having a bachelor's degree is so difficult because of their expensive fees, It's better to opt for any short diploma from any E-Learning University, which will cost less. Otherwise, you need to earn around 22,000 pounds annually to live a comfortable life in the UK and covering your education too with a part-time job.

For my Grandson the Masters in Computer Sciences at University of Birmingham was the right thing for him. He has worked hard in that year and gained a distinction so a good job in the horizon. Makes it all worth while and I feel the investment I made in his education has been rewarded. Might not be right for everyone but for him it has been.
