You've not heard of Glossybox or Birchbox or the Beauty Advent Calendars? I only ask that because I think they've been going longer than the veg boxes have!

OP I think it's probably great if you are looking to discover new products, but many of the boxes seem full of smaller sample sizes and rarely seem good value for money. Occasionally the one-off boxes can do but they're rarely affordable, I think most people over the age of 35 ;) have already fairly strong ideas on what they/we do or don't like so these boxes can feel like a waste if you get sent a load of items that don't meet the mark. Buyer Beware would be my advice.

I used to watch the unboxing vids on YouTube and I was never tempted to subscribe to one. Some of the products clearly were not at all suited to the woman's skin type or colouring. The expensive products also always seemed to be tiny samples and I would not want to spend £££s on a product based on one use. I wonder if the box fad is fading. I don't see as much excitement on YouTube and I notice a lot of them cancelling their subscriptions.

I was going to ask, a box of what? I've never heard of buying cosmetics in a box, like a veg box. Daft buying things you don't want or need. Choose a nice present yourself.

You could look at it like getting a grab bag of items from a friend. I think you have had something similar from friends.
