Orange livebox with other broadband provider?

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help, I am moving house and the house I'm moving to has some kind of cable tv/phone/internet bundle with a wired router. I currently have an Orange livebox and Orange broadband. Can I use my livebox to make the cable broadband wireless? Or are they incompatable?

If they are incompatable then is it possible to buy a wireless router that makes the cable broadband wireless? Cheaply!?

No ida but you can buy a Netgear Wifi Router without ADSL for under £50 but you may need a cable modem with a RJ45 port if the cable provider just provided a solely USB cable modem.

You could even possibly get away with just using a wireless access point.

I don't think you can use the livebox. It is designed for ADSL connections (i.e. through the phoneline).

You need to buy a wireless DSL router to use in place of the existing wired one.
