ESA50 documents withdrawn - Strange!

So basically, I sent my ESA50 long with doctors letters and specialists letters to Glasgow ASC, Wolverhampton address on the 02 of May....

Called centre for health and disability assessments. They told me as of yesterday 22/05, DWP requested that my file be withdrawn from their services and returned to them...

MY nervous are shattered now. Has anyone got experience of this happening or a possible reason, Naturally i'm trying to get through to DWP but it's taking me ages.

Got my worried now.... Thanks

I don't have any answers for you but hopefully by now you've managed to get through to DWP.

First council tax send sheriff officers for £79 debt then double it £158, Now DWP are playing me... What next I wonder.

Strange things happen with the DWP. About 16 or !7 years ago I had a relative on incapacity benefit, suffered from schizrophrenia, went for the all work test whatever it was called at the time.

Anyway got his letter back found fit for work. I got on the phone to them told them that if they wanted I could get the local social service, who had a lot of contact with my relative to contact them.

Said they would phone me back in a few hours and lo and behold he was back on IB again.

Never seen the like of it since, no appeal no MR, just put back of benefit because of a phone call.

I think it could well have been Glasgow too.

Hope you get it sorted out shortly.

I guess I will need to wait till tomorrow.

Stayed on hold for like 1 hour only to be told by the ignorant DWP staff my case wasn't serious enough for him to call benefit delivery centre there and then, Even though my condition means I won't stop thinking about this till tomorrow morning. And expects me to wait upto 48 hours for a call back.

Disgraceful the way he treated me. My nervous are shattered now.

I think most people would feel the same way. I believe the time scale for all call backs is within 48 hours.

Hopefully you'll find out tomorrow. Remember that you can't be found fit for work without a face 2 face assessment, so at least you know it won't be bad news.

    DWP useless people at times....

Called again this morning to be told, We can't see or tell you anything. We will need to book a call back from benefit centre which can take 48 hours, Meaning I might not get the call till Tuesday.

I just hope they have enough information that I don't need an assessment otherwise why would they withdraw it? Really stressed me out. This on top of other things.

Well Seems like DWP and chda do listen and take note of doctors advice and letters.

After months of waiting, My Dr wrote me a new letter stating situations have changed and that I cannot have a face to face or work in any capacity. Seems the people who make the decisions aren't as harsh as everyone thinks.
