Not exactly the only benefit. Buying with a credit card will provide buyer protection. I personally have done that and then when the purchases delivered immediately paid off the balance. But I don't really see the benefit of using the credit card in such a way for everyday purchases such as shopping: Might as well use a debit card.0 -
This is "utter tosh".
For credit cards, my credit reports show:- Current balance
- Previous statement balance
- Payment amount
The CRAs must have a special setup - just for me.
Mine show the amount transacted each month, the credit limit (for each month) and also the amount of cash advances (for each month) too.

The clever thing to do is to wait for the bill to arrive and pay it off just before the due date.0 -
