E: 21/06 Send in a clue for The Hidden Books game to win a £100 Book Token (effort)
National Book Tokens
The Hidden Books competition is always good fun for MSE compers (see 2017 and 2016 comps) and you can now also win by devising a clue for 2018's comp.
To enter, you just need to describe to us – in no more than 50 words – what your clue would look like (and give us the answer so we can judge whether or not we think it’s a good 'un!). Here are some tips to get started:
- We're looking for clues for the biggest and newest books - published within the past five years - that you've loved reading recently, or contemporary books you haven't stopped hearing about.
- Adventure! Travel! Journey! Think about signposts, road signs and other signage – all of our clues will be along this theme.
The winning clue is not guaranteed be featured in the final Hidden Books Game design, which is at the discretion of the Book Tokens Ltd team. A £100/€115 National Book Token prize will be awarded to the winner regardless of whether or not the clue is used.
In the event that a clue does not win this competition but is used in the game, the entrant will be awarded a £10/€15 National Book Token.
National Book Tokens will only be awarded if the entire entry (book title, author, and exact clue description) are used in the game.
