From a mortgage POV it makes no difference.
Someone contributing to the deposit, living in the property but not party to mortgage nor ownership is not acceptable to several lenders.
Others won't accept a sole application from someone married.

Thanks for the replies though - raised some good questions! Have been very open with mortgage and solicitor throughout the process so trust that there isn't an issue.. Lets seeFinally completed on our new home
