pending transaction

I ordered something online today and when I went to pay for it there was an error and now I'm left with a pending transaction and I need the money as I'm go in on holiday on Monday. Can anyone help please or had a similar experience. Thanks in advance

It will normally disappear within 2 to 5 working days.0

If the transaction had gone through you would not have the money anyway?
IMO it is best to use a credit card for online purchases - so that pending transactions such as this does not impact your day to day monies.0
