Your designated purposes of credit cards (for those who have 2)

in Credit cards
Heya. For those of you here with two credit cards, just wondering if you have a designated purpose for each? I have two, one all paid off and the other with a balance on (a small one that will soon be paid off). It's been a long time since the first one has actually been paid off in full and I kinda like it that way! And going forward, will be aiming to pay my credit card/s off in full each month. Just thinking of ways I could effectively use the card/s in future, now they're all (minus one but soon to be) up to date, so was interested to see how others manage theirs and for what purposes? Or if anyone uses theirs as their main spending card?

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Cashback Amex for as much spending as possible.
Halifax Clarity Mastercard for anywhere that doesn't take Amex plus all foreign spending.
Nationwide Visa as a backup for foreign spending or for anywhere that requires a Visa card eg World Cup tickets because they're sponsored by Visa so do not accept Mastercard for ticket purchases.0
