Barclays Gallup 360 Glyphosate
Hi, I have been using Gallup 360 for a few years now but would like clarification on some points.

I am just an ordinary householder, (not a professional), and would like to know if I am using dilution correctly.
I do not have a Knapsack sprayer but use just an ordinary 5 litre garden pressure sprayer and some times a 1 litre spray bottle.
In these sprayers I am diluting @ 30ml per 1 litre of water and it does seem to be working alright. Is this a reasonable dilution rate?

On Barclays tech sheets HERE, page 9 under "Mixing", it says in relation to knapsack sprayers, “Spray out on day of mixing”. Exactly what does this mean and why would it be necessary?
What would happen to any mixture left in a sprayer and used say in another 2 weeks or longer? As sometimes it would be convenient to have a small sprayer with ready mixed Gallup 360 in it, after all the ready mixed stuff you can buy at DIY stores etc does not say to use all on first day of use.

The spray out on day of mixing advice is just to ensure you're not leaving unlabelled weedkiller about the place. I can't see any other reason why it would matter.
I'm not sure about the dilution. I wouldn't worry too much though as long as it's doing the trick.0 -
It depends on what you are spraying...but from what i can find 20-24ml per litre of water is correct but you could put together a lot stronger mix for forestry situations.0

With 360g/litre strength glyphosate, about 100ml would do 5 litres, so at 30ml/litre you are erring on the strong side.0

And no problem using the type of sprayers I am using?
Just that their tech/instructions make no mention other than industrial use re spraying containers, although I suppose that is who they are primarily aimed at.

The sprayer type won't matter much. I prefer a backpack with a lance, because keeps the chemicals away from me
I have the same sort of problem with pro chemicals, as dilution rates are often given for things like ATV mounted boom sprayers. They can't get their heads around a guy like me who just wants to zap a few nasties, not dose the whole field!0
