My company uses AA, I have called them out maybe 5 times over past 10 years, they have always turned up promptly.
I do echo the others though in not having to call out a Bd company to change a wheel0 -
Excuse me? Surely it's our choice to pay for a breakdown service to include such services as changing a tyre? If that's a service that the breakdown company include rather than exclude, and we are paying a price that includes that service, then we can use them.
Heck, why would anybody go to a restaurant when they can eat at home? Why would anybody pay a plumber when they could have a go at repairing the leak themselves?
Maybe the breakdown companies should offer two packages, one with changing a tyre for those who cannot / do not wish to do so, and one without for all of you who can undertake this yourself. I know which I'd pay for.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

If it's the case of waiting 2 hours for them to turn up to me I'd rather just change the wheel myself and get on without wasting 2 hours of my life.
I rotated 2 wheels on my car on Saturday which entailed taking 1 wheel off the rear and putting the spare on, swapping it with one of the front ones, then putting the front one on the rear and putting the spare back in the boot. Took max 30 mins and that was with the !!!!y little scissor jack too.0 -

I will excuse you.
good idea about 2 prices ,one with wheel changing and one without
( not many change tyres by the roadside), they possibly already do as they do offer different packages0
