Anwyl Homes

Hi all, I've been checking out the north wales based developer Anwyl Homes over this last year. We don't live in wales currently but are very interested in relocating in years to come. Although I've always worked on our houses, arthritis is changing my enthusiasm to the degree that the benefits of a new build are now very appealing.
I'm keen to hear of any experiences of dealing with Anwyl, and of the quality of their builds. If you've bought from Anwyl then please share your experience and views.
Thanks, Mac

Moved into a new build Anwyl house around 6 months ago and personally I think they've been great on our development. We've found a few snags since we moved in, expected, and they've always been sorted within a couple of days. We've had no real issues with the build or its quality (the neighbours we've spoken with have said the same thing too). So yeah, my experience with them has been spot on.0

They are a well known !!!8216;family company!!!8217; developer across the N. Wales coast/Cheshire.
We bought a new build on one of their smaller developments around four years ago. In all honesty, we have had no major issues and we are very happy with the house. Coincidentally, my grandparents also live in an Anwyl property (bungalow) which is older and they are also very happy and hold Anwyl in high regard.
As for the quality of our house, we have no complaints. If going for a new build again, we would be inclined to go with Anwyl over a larger company such as Barratt/Redrow etc. More thought seems to go into the placing of properties around the development. We have lovely green space around our house.
Happy to help if you have any specific questions. North Wales is a beautiful part of the world.0 -
Many thanks for the info guys and it seems to back up the opinion I was beginning to form which is great.
Are you able to give any indication on the level of discount you were able to haggle from the asking price?
