I must be a sad git as I found that exciting.....

Anyway how about an annual event celebrating the DVLA's willingness to pass out personal data to all and sundry. We could call it #RogerToftDay or even #PatrickTroyDay.

About a month before, Keepers throughout the UK ask the DVLA for a list of parking companies that accessed their data. Then on say 25th May or 1st April (#RogerToftDay) everyone sends out a SAR to the parking companies that were on the DVLA reply plus a few more just in case they have the data but didn't ask the DVLA.

So 6mn SAR's on one day would make a nice SAR bomb.

Happy #RogerToftDay to all when it comes,

The DVLA are currently very speedy in providing a letter detailing all release of keeper data.

I sent an email for each of the vehicles that I have owned over the last several years giving date ranges & addresses & within a week had a letter for each detailing when & who they sold the data to. In the case of the car that there had been no release of data I had an email back within a couple of days confirming the fact.

I submitted a separate email to SubjectAccess.Requests@dvla.gsi.gov.uk of the following form for each of my cars with date ranges covering the entire period of my ownership

Subject : Subject Access Request VRM 123 ABC

    Dear Sirs

    Re: VRM 123 ABC

As the Registered Keeper of the above VRM could you advise who has accessed my personal details with regards to this marque, how often and when did the DVLA send the keeper details ou?. Please advise the information with regards to events between 01/01/2011 and 10/08/2018.

I understand there is no charge for this information and look forward to your speedy reply.

Almost literally, the nuclear option! :D. A right potential 'nagger SAR-ky'
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

OK let's choose a #RogerToftDay and start advertising it here all the time.

How about people bombard the DVLA on 5th November (easy to remember and gives them November to reply) then hit the PPCs a month later on 5th December with a SAR bomb, giving them no chance to cope over the Christmas break, then they could all be reported to the ICO, en masse, early Jan 2019?

    Good idea IamEmanresu! :D
