CCJ on credit file...

Hey guys,

So I am in the process of moving into a new rented house but I have to fill in the application form first which asks if I have any CCJ's.

Now I had 2 CCJs recently but paid them off in full. Now they will still show up on my credit file as they weren't paid within 1 month of being issued (I wasn't aware of them) so I was wondering do I need to say that "YES" I have a CCJ or "NO" because I have paid it off?

I fear if I put No and they realise that I have had 2 then they might write me off straight away and if I put Yes and offer my explanation they mighr just think I'm lying.

So I was wondering if you guys could offer some advice.

Thank you.

    State the whole truth:

Landlords & agents get really really p**'d off with applicants who don't disclose such matters. Hopefully honesty will be rewarded. And offer to provide evidence that they are paid off if required.

Hope it works out, best wishes!!
