You can word an appeal that mentions the Annual Report and you can write it yourself, anyone can.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for all the advice. I get that I need to appeal, provide copies of the tickets, and explain (de minimis error in VRN input) but how do I submit this to the company, via the zatappeal site they provided? ...but isn't this the standard appeal process, which I've been advised to avoid.

The "standard appeals" process is the one you see in the FAQ - #1 and involves a standard template letter of appeal
You asked if you should use it in #10 after being advised differently in #2 and #9!0 -
We didn't mean avoid using the appeals page.
Just don't use the template appeal most posters do here.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
