Help! Cleaning velux windows

Hi

How do I clean the external pane of velux roof windows?

The velux windows website says they should pivot 180 degrees but ours is top hung and doesn't pivot. I can't find any advice for cleaning top hung velux windows!

Any one else have experience with these?

Thank you I've seen this already it doesn't help. The pane is supposed to rotate 180 degrees but there is no advice on actually how to rotate it.

The velux help videos only show how to rotate a centre-pivot window!

Open the bottom latch then use the top vent bar two clicks it should spin ( yes yank it!!)

Thank you! It worked...did need A LOT of yanking, thought I was going to pull the vent handle off. Also needed to wiggle it into position to lock it in - it came out so completely the latches didn't align, maybe yanked it too much.

Close the bottom latch then open the top two clicks. Close the bottom latch before closing the top.


WD40 inside the latch mechanism before closing.
