Well done Lemon Tree - it's a real achievement, however small. From small acorns...
Keep it up - aim for £10 next month???

what's even better is i've just remember that at the beginning of this month i dropped my overdraft by £50! Why will they only drop it by such seemingly large amounts?
My challenge for next month is to have £20 left of the overdraft on the day before payday.0 -
Well done - feels good doesn't it.
Since I joined this site I've had money left over at the end of the month, thats never happened before.

LT, It's the most amazing feeling isn't it having money left over at the end of the month? More amazing will be when you don't even have to think too hard about embracing MSE ways, you'll be living them automatically.
Well done, and enjoy that feeling - it is the best.

Well done!! It is a great feeling, I remeber when we paid the rent on time out of the right months wages and not having an advance to pay it. Now our rent is always paid out of the current months wages and not borrwed against next months wages.we're trying to reduce our shopping by £10 each week to pay of our overdraft. It isn't down as one of our debts as I didn't even think about it when we did our snowball, but we're managing it this way.0

I think that is great. Your parents probably are secretly pleased as well! Keep up the good work
