This will sound really sad and like such a small thing to many but i'm so pleased with myself this month that i have to tell someone.
Tomorrow is payday and i have £8 of my overdraft left, this month i have NOT:
used a credit card
borrowed from my parents 'till payday', and
have not taken any money out of my savings (that are for house hold bills).
In effect i have managed to spend the last month living within my means thereby not increasing my debt and although it's been a struggle i'm so chuffed!
It's probably the first month i've had like this in at least 7 years, no wonder it feels like such an achievement.
Hope you haven't minded me posting this it just seems like such a major event at the moment.
