Hi There,
sat here tonight on comuter and i swear i can hear something nxt thing i notice is that i got what seems to be like some kind of radio station comming through my speakers i have kept checking them and its is just talking, has been for the last half an hour, its quite faint but understandable,
i can only seem to hear it when volume is set to min, as soon as i turn up it fades away, i have Logitech X-530, this only happens when connected to pc, i havent got any kind of radio software running and i know it isnt from the net as im waiting for my madasafish broadband to be enabled and im on dial up which cant handle any kind of streaming sound these days,
any ideas ? ? ? ? ? ?

Simplest answer, yes you're going mad.

Otherwise that is a confusing one. It's possible for the cables to pick up the radio signals like an antenna (I remember building a crystal radio where you didn't even need to power it) but it shouldn't then resolve into intelligible audio. Unless it's not so much picking up the radio waves but some kind of interference from someone else's radio. Is it intelligible enough for you to compare to actual radio stations? Just to confirm whether it is a radio station?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

You're not going mad, I had a similar experience with an older pair of PC speakers. There must be a strong radio signal coming through, mine sounded like a Spanish LW or MW broadcast. You could try wrapping some foil around the speakers/wires.0

We used to get the odd taxi signal and / or police, but nothing consistent or clearly audible.
We have shielded speakers now
And we moved so we don't have two taxi rnks in our road anymore. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
