Hi just looking for a bit of help. I'm curious to what the bank advisor see's when completing a credit check? Not the lender as a whole just the person you speak to in the bank. Do they just see that if you have failed/passed or do they see more information such as credit cards ect
Thanks
Thanks

If the person in question is an underwriter for the bank, information received from the credit check will be visible to them, in order to conclude an application outcome for credit.
If applying with someone in branch, the computer may make the decision for them with minimal input. Questions are normally asked by the computer, which the adviser reads from the screen and enters the answer you provide.
If you have information to hide from them, it wouldn't be a good idea to make an application. The lender will assess all areas, in order to ensure the credit requested is affordable and in compliance with their criteria.
Depending on the bank, the adviser might have access to one or more areas of your credit file, either to assist the decision making process or to discuss your financial circumstances with you before going ahead with the decision making process.Advice provided from this account does not consist of any professional knowledge. The underwriters will have access to your full credit report.
The bank staff in the branch may only be able to see your internal !!!8220;score!!!8221; not to be confused with the fictional score from the agencies.0
