Transferring digital pics from pc to cd

HELP PLEASE!!!

I can download my photos from my camera to my pc but don't seem to get them copied to cd thereafter.... I get "d inaccessible" and "e inaccessible" messages coming up - I have placed cds into the different drives and just don't know whats wrong... any ideas?

Is there an idiots guide to doing what I want???

If so, have you ever copied anything to a CD before - such as document files or music?

Hello,

As bat999, says not only do you require a cd that can "write" to CD's you also require NERO 7 or "other " suitable software to take your pictures and burn/copy them to the CD.

can you actually read a cd from the cd,drive?
are you sure the drive is called D or E?

mine are called I and J.

Thanks - I can read cds from the drives - will look into the "Nero" software - cheers!

Assuming you are using XP and are just copying files to a CD you don't need Nero (although it is better than the built in XP CD burning utility).

Have you ever burnt anything to CD before on your PC?

Thanks for your reply - yes I have copied to cd before... tried again to download "video" clips from camcorder and it wouldnt work - just says "inaccessible" and do have write drives....

Have installed Nero - and will check that one out x
