CreditExpert (Experian) vs ClearScore (Equifax) "Credit Score"

Hi guys,
I understand that these two companies score things differently, but I'm sitting with scores of 994 out of 999 for Experian and 512 (out of roughly 750 at a guess as it is not clear) for Equifax.
Nothing has changed recently so it cannot be a timing issue.
Any thoughts on why they would be so dramatically different?
Cheers.

Both are made up and meaningless. Nobody sees or cares about them and neither is remotely accurate, so just make sure you ignore them.
Just make sure the data on all your files is correct and ensure you manage your credit responsibly.0 -
With regards to credit scores then, does anyone know whether they are meaningless when it comes to the US (I mean US credit score not UK)?
I'm just beginning to build credit here so I want to keep a track of it.0 -
US ones do have some meaning and I believe may even be seen by lenders.
In the UK, we enjoy the randomly generated ones. They're not used as a guide to credit worthiness.0 -
Thanks guys.0
