PPI claim on dissolved company

Hi,
I need advise regarding car finance I took out with a car sales company, that is now dissolved.
In order for me to purchase the car I took out finance, the car salesman advised me that the finance company would only agree to the finance if I took the PPI as well.
At the time I did not require PPI and PPI was not explained to me fully.
I have sort compensation from the finance company, but have been advised by them that I can only claim from the now dissolved car sales, as they sold the PPI to myself.
Cheers
Kev

None, if the company no longer exists.0

What year did you take this finance out and who were the company?.
If it was taken out on or after 14th January 2005, you can make a claim through FSCS, they have a list of insolvent companies, if yours is among them, put a claim in.
If none of the above applies, zx is correct and you can do nothing.0
