How do you consolidate your gains?

I think that sounds like a reasonably good plan. Are your other non-core funds actively managed funds like 100% equity income funds, and you reinvest the dividends from them in VLS60/HSBC Balanced funds?
Yes, my non-core funds are actively managed funds and are not auto invest dividends. Just adding that I have a few more core funds Vanguard FTSE Global, Fidelity Index World and iShares Mid Cap. I know there is some duplication across some of these funds, but as individual value in some cases is £90k- £100k, I personally feel more comfortable spreading the risk.0
