Hi
Just checking my equifax file. I have on there a Default from Barclaycard account ending 4003 from Jan 2016. Further up is an entry from Link Financial with a default for the account ending 4003 from February 2016.
The one from BC shows as settled but there is clearly a D in red on there and the Link one is showing as defaulted
Am I correct in saying that I should only have one entry? If so, who do I contact Link or BC?
Thanks for any help

Link. They need to remove it.
Or you could go via the CRAs. Remember to check all three.0 -

thanks, so even though it's them I'm paying now with my DMP?0 -
Yes - they need to move theirs to the same date as the BC one and have the BC one removed.0

Sorry to jump on this thread but I too have 2 x defaults to Barclaycard and PRA who took over the debt also put 2 defaults on but they are exactly the same dates as the Barclaycard ones. Should the PRA ones be removed???
Mine are paid off and satisfied0 -
It doesn't overly matter, but if PRA want their name on the defaults, then the Bcard ones should be removed.0
