ParkingEye Morrisons Leeds

The driver parked in the morrisons car park in the merrion centre in leeds (didn't shop in morrisons) but couldn't pay at all as the machine was not working. However, the car was there for 3hrs 56 minutes (as the letter states). The parking charge is £85 (or £50 until 19/05/18 despite only getting the letter on the 11/5/18 although date of issue is apparently 5/5/18). So basically the driver couldn't have paid for their time spent there anyway. Please may we have some sort of advice on what we should do?

first task it to edit your post and remove any hint of who did what

what happened on the day happened to the DRIVER

what happened SINCE that day happened to the KEEPER

the words "ME , MYSELF & I" do not exist in this topic, so dont use them

then read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread and decide if you are appealing it or not

as the vehicle was on those premises without payment then you are on a sticky wicket as its unlikely that Morrissons will cancel if the driver was not a customer and if payment wasnt made

the signs would have said that the driver need to pay or leave, and to contact PE on a phone number if the machines are not working

in future, the driver should not be parking on private land without permission or payent , or both

What happened when you complained to Morrisons, as you would? PE are their agent.

M's Head Office cancel EVERY TIME, surprised you haven't just done an email and achieved it already. Search this forum for Morrisons email and you will find the 'donotreply' one that gets cancellations.

  • Yes thank you for giving me that kick up the bum!!! I used the do not reply email and also appealed so I'm not sure which one caused it but my fine has been cancelled!

    Good news

Wonder if Morrisons know how much business they
lose by using Parking Eye and their dodgy ANPR

LOL, it was the Morissons 'donotreply' complaint email that did it.
