could it be as simple as the fuse gone? is there a fuse to be gone??? god i'm cold!!
  • If you have a gas boiler has the pilot light gone out??
If its an oil boiler do you need to press the reset button??

admitidly (sp?) the gas did go out this morning when the credit ran out but this afternoon i bought some more and re-lit the pilot light ready for the heating to kick in tonight. when i press the constant switch on the timer you cant hear the 'hmm' of it on and the boiler doen't flare up into action either... it normally 'hmms' even when i've got no gas thats why i'm thinking its something to do with the timer fuse thing

got it sorted, turns out my youngeast daughter had shut off the switch which enables the timer to kick in the boiler. she said she wanted the heating on earlier as she was cold....i see a lock going onto the airing cupboard door now!!!
  • Glad you have got it sorted, my youngest daughter did that trick to - I forgot that switch!!!!
