Building raised bed against garden wall

I am looking to build a raised area next to my new garden wall. I would have preferred to have dug down, but this is the better option for me right now.
Should I apply any protection to the wall in order to delay any issues that will inevitably arise from having damp mud directly next to it for the next xx years.
Thanks

Maybe line the raised bed with some kind of mypex or plastic liner?0

What DD1 did was to make a sleeper trough thingy in an L shape in the corner of the walled garden.
That way, the sleepers were set about 100mm from the wall for that reason.
Could probably dig out a photo or two if required ...0 -
Just place your raised bed slightly away from the wall with a small gap so water doesn't pass fromthe soil/frameinto the wall.0

That's the thing. In order to save money, I intend to add sleepers on the front and sides, the rest would be against the wall. Cost even to do that is in excess of £200, and double (and possibly more) for the full frame.
Good idea however!0 -

You really need to keep it away from the wall, a couple of hundred now could save a few thousand in years to come.

If you have any pictures it would be appreciated.
Will this work?

£200! Must be a big bed.

Not recommending them but just an example0
