Power Cut - No Compensation ?

Our Electricity was cut on Sunday (6th) at 7:30pm, and not fully restored until Monday (7th) almost 3pm.
ENWL came around 9pm on Sunday & offered a generator, but due to the siting of our meter (in the front cellar), & our property (mid terrace, on a main road), it would have to be sited at the rear & feed cables in & leave windows open - this would have only powered fridge & lights.
ENWL "stopped the clock" at that point - not when the generator eventually appeared at 11am on Monday, nor 3pm when full service was restored.
The generator wasn't possible, it would have meant feeding in a power cable through an open ground floor rear window.
This would have left us exposed (we have been burgled previously - plus there were travelers in the immediate vicinity), and likewise their generator would have been at risk from being pinched.
We are only asking for £75 for loss of service (over 12 hours) - and it took me ages to find the relevant claim form on the web! https://www.enwl.co.uk/advice-and-services/guaranteed-standards-of-service/apply-for-guaranteed-standards-payment/
It has cost ENWL more than that to fit 3 brand new paving stones after they smashed the original ones after throwing them into the truck after digging the hole outside!
I've had 3 or 4 calls from ENWL saying there is nowhere further I can take this.
Am I being unreasonable?

Because it was only a suitcase generator offered & wouldn't have been full supply - I've now had a call to say £75 will be paid

Not sure what you mean by a "suitcase generator" but a small hand portable 5kVa unit is more than adequate for a house.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
