It was paid for with a debit card so no section 75 cover, unfortunately.
CheckMEND report shows it as marked lost/stolen by network operator.
The store called back a couple of days after we went in there to say that they wanted to send the phone to head office to see what could be done for her as they 'felt sorry for her'. The company don't even have a website and I can't find any info on a head office.
She has spoken to trading standards and was told that despite everything that has occurred since purchase the fact it was sold as brand new means she is entitled to a full refund but was advised to follow the company complaints procedure to begin with once we find out what that is.0 -

She can still raise a chargeback with her back- even with a debit card
