Nintendo DS Lite, DSi & 3DS XL (merged threads)

I Picked up the original ds second hand for €25 with 2 games and was very happy with it. I suggest not rushing into buying these as they can be picked up quite cheaply at Car Boot Sales and second hand shops rather easily.

Also the new 3ds has taken a price cut of about €100 so it might be worth getting that instead.

i'm thinking of buying a nintendo ds xl for my son for christmas so just wondering where would be the cheapest place to purchase and how reasonable are the games. wouldnt really need many as he'll only be 4 by then so maybe games like disney cars and toy story. thanks in advance.:beer:

Tescos have got the Nintendo dsi ( not xl) for £115 - bought one myself last week.

i know this prob goes against the grain of alot of people here but you thought of flea bay at they sell new ones there too. here is dsi xl i asked for new priced between £80-110 got 5 results. people look there might find what your after but i would buy from them and when you get it if a gift open it run it up with game check it works then stick it back in box for birthday or whatever.

All the threads I have checked have expured. The best I have found is £118 for aqua and £125 red. Can anyone beat these?

I google searched and found Tesco in the top ad - red one is 125 but there is a £10 off code given on the ad. So that's one daughter sorted for her birthday - now to find a good deal on a different colour for the other!!

thanks for the tip about the trade-in. am planning to try it. Will then see if i can get a cheap second hand dsi to trade for other son!

Thanks Lugh_Chronain but sadly the Tesco voucher is expired...I didn't fancy PriceMinister, 1. because I hadn't heard of them before and 2. they are in France, unless someone can re-assure me?
