With Very.com etc, do you have to take out some kind of credit, like catalogue shopping or can you pay on a credit/debit card?
You can do either, but be aware that they have been known to recover the cost of codes at a later date if found to be used by anyone it wasn't originally issued to. There are lots of threads about this.

Absolutely awesome tip, not sure if anyone else has tried this, but it certainly works, purchased 2 ds lites for my kids and saved a mighty £60, thanks again MPlant

    Hi!

How did you get the £30 twice? Did you register twice with different addresses? I've tried doing it this morning and I don't think it's gone through!

    Ta!

I have done this too (with 1 DS lite) and saved £30 and was really please thanks. I think the trick with these codes is not to get greedy and start buying stuff just for the discount, then when something like this comes along at christmas time, you can normally find one you can use. Item arrived really quickly too so I am delighted.
Me debt free thanks to MSE :T

Well yes, I used different email addresses under the same postal address and all appears to be fine, I have the discounts already credited to my bank account.
Feel a bit sheepish now after seeing those other posts, like I've got away with something...there that was my 2 seconds of guilt over with!

Sorry, people, did not post yesterday because not feeling very well. However, on Tuesday I weighed 76.6 kg and today, 76.2 kg.

Both are lower than last week when I recorded 76.8 kg.

I've got below the 12 stone mark at last! Only just below, but going in the right direction!

Well I opened an account and then you can pay in installements. The code takes the money off straightaway though, so you'll only pay the discounted price. I got mine for £72 including delivery!

    :D
  • which code did you use tho? there seems to be quite a few :( also they cant charge me again afterwards for the £30 then? so lets say in a months time they just charge me £30
