You can buy a ds lite from very.com for £99, then use a voucher code (there are lots in the link bellow) to get £30 off. You can then open an account with one of the other connected catalogues (Additions, Littlewoods, Choice, Great Universal, Marshall Ward, Empire, Kays - as they all use thesame central stock and voucher system) to buy some games and get another £30 off.

You can save loads doing it this way and if you've used one £30 code with one catalogue you can usually then use a £15 one in another order. I have recently bought about £850 worth of Xmas present frome these catalogue but paid £325 with money off vouchers.

  • Tesco have the ds lite console in various colours for sale at only £70 at the moment.
Someone else posted this on another thread and I went to my local stores and they hadn't heard of this deal.
I phoned up head office and they confirmed that this is correct and it is £70.
So I have been phoning all stores wthin an 8 mile radius and I've found one that has lots in stock. I'm off to get one in a minute and I've also got some clubcard vouchers so I should get it for £57 - bargain.

If you go for this deal, it's definitely worth looking up the tesco store locator site and getting the numbers of the stores you were going to visit and give them a ring first. I rang around about 8 stores before I found any in stock. They wouldn't put me one by either so I hope they've still got some by the time I get there!

I'll let you know how get on!
  • argh - turned up at the store and they didn't have a clue what we were talking about. They've never stocked that promotion.
The woman that told me they had plenty in stock must have been fibbing to me.
I got 150 clubcard points for the inconvenience of a 20 mile round trip - grrrrrr.

They double checked the system and no stores within a 20 mile radius of me even stocked this deal.

My local Tesco has an in store DSi promotion £149 gets you the Dsi in black or white and 3 specific top 40 titles including Rabbids something or other and a Sims. Not available on line. Annoying thing is I'm after 2 Ds lites.
Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.50
  • I bought a pink ds lite from argos last weekend for just under £98 with a free accessory kit and either nintendogs or professor layton game free - was quite pleased with the offer. I also bought a pack of batteries from there which made my spend over £100 so got a £10 voucher.
Looking for a good dsi deal now!

Absolutely awesome tip, not sure if anyone else has tried this, but it certainly works, purchased 2 ds lites for my kids and saved a mighty £60, thanks again MPlant
  • With Very.com etc, do you have to take out some kind of credit, like catalogue shopping or can you pay on a credit/debit card?
