I thought it would be more expensive - but the complete opposite...
Combined seems to be approx. £30/40 more expensive in most cases....

In the event of a claim (think fire or flood), if you have a combined policy you'll normally only pay 1 excess.
If you have separate policies expect to pay an excess under each section.0 -
Also check the cashback sites
Buying separate policies will trigger two sets of cashback which may be more than the one cashback paid for a combined policy0
